12 Ty-Siriol cocktail sausages
6 Rashers of Ty-Siriol streaky bacon
6 Fresh sage leaves
Olive oil
Start by preheating your oven to 180oC / gas 4.
In a small and shallow pan, gently fry the sage leaves in a little olive oil for about 30 seconds. Take them off the heat and reserve to the side.
Stretch the bacon by running the back of a knife lengthways along each rasher. This stops them shrinking while in the oven. Cut each rasher in half.
Place a sage leaf onto one end of each rasher of bacon. Put the sausages on top of the sage leaf and roll each rasher around the sausage. Your sage leaf should be in-between the sausge and bacon.
Lay your ‘Pigs in Blankets’ , seam-side down, in a roasting tray. Drizzle with olive oil and pop them in the oven for about 30 minutes, or until they go all sticky.
Alternatively, you can cover your ‘Pigs in Bankets’ and pop them in the fridge if you don’t want to cook them straight away.
