Grab some straight sided glasses (like whisky glasses) and place a quartered lime and 2 tsp of sugar in each one. With the help of a muddler, squash everything down to extract as much juice as you can from the limes.
Top the glass with crushed ice and add 1 tbsp of pomegranate seeds. Then fill the glass just over halfway with pomegranate juice and top up with cachaca.
Mix, decorate with mint leaves and serve with a straw.
